As I continue to follow the progression of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, I wanted to update you on what we are doing at Little Ones to clean and sanitize the school. Congregation Beth Shalom is cleaning and sanitizing the entire building from top to bottom, including the classrooms, furniture, floors, rugs, etc. The cleaning and sanitation of the building will also be heightened on a daily basis. All of the classroom equipment, including the furniture, chairs, toys, dolls, dress up clothes, etc., will also be cleaned and sanitized before the children return to school. The cleaning and sanitation of the classroom equipment will also be heightened on a daily basis.
I will continue to stay abreast of and follow the recommendations of the Glenview-Northbrook Coronavirus Task Force, the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). As always, the safety, health and well-being of our children, families and staff is of utmost importance.
I encourage you to take seriously and closely follow the recommendations of the CDC in protecting you and your family. This includes social distancing, frequent handwashing, covering coughs and sneezes with a Kleenex and staying home when ill. These and other recommendations can be found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html. It is imperative that we all work together to contain and stop the spread of this virus.
I hope to see everyone back at school, March 30th but again I will follow the recommendations of the Glenview-Northbrook Coronavirus Task Force, the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).
Please take care of yourself, your families and each other! Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Love, Sheree
